Banana Bread
¾ c. softened margarine
1 ½ c. sugar
1 ½ c. bananas (mashed)
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
½ c. sour milk (add 2 tsp. vinegar to milk to make it sour)
Cream margarine, adding sugar gradually; cream well.
Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together flour, salt, and soda.
Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk, blending until just
well combined.
Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
